Miscast Spells
"If I (accidentally) perform a spell incorrectly, not changing the intent to harmful, but just forget to do something or so on, will I be harmed?"
No. Intent is the most essential ingredient to successful magic. Ritual and spells are merely means of focusing our intent. If you were going to do "knot magick" to attempt a healing, and then later someone told you that "knots" were only for binding magick, you might become convinced that the healing wouldn't be successful. But as long as you were focused on healing while performing your ritual, healing energy is what was sent out... no matter if you tied three square knots and the book told you only one.
Magical energy is neutral- neither positive or negative. You "program" or charge this energy with intent. If your intent is positive, it doesn't matter if you do your ritual wearing mickey mouse ears while sitting on a whoopie cushion. As long as your intentions are positive, you've done it right... and you might find that mickey mouse ears really work for you.
