“Do not travel far to other dusty lands, forsaking your own sitting place;
if you cannot find the truth where you are now, you will never find it.”

- Dogen

Here's some of my favorite places to spend a bit of free time.  I try to keep my list short, and include comments for each link so you know what each is about, under the assumption that an endless list of anonymous links isn’t too useful to you.

Food for the Soul:

Sacred Texts Online
- "A quiet place in cyberspace devoted to religious tolerance and scholarship." This is where to go if you are looking for Sacred Writings from every background.

Yoga Journal
- The online home for the biggest and most influential voice of yoga in the western world. A fantastic resource to learn about all aspects of yoga philosophy, practice, and lifestyle.

BeliefNet
- Here's a ten minute guided meditation at BeliefNet. Save this link, and click it once a day... you'll be well on your way to mastering meditation with simple things like this!

ZEN
- ZEN is a site that teaches you a bit about zen meditation in a delightful, interactive online format.

The Daily Motivator
- Here is a beautiful animated presentation from Ralph Marston of The Daily Motivator that will inspire your heart with joy and remind you of your sense of higher purpose.  It’s a few minutes of deeply moving beauty.

Principia Discordia
- What is the Principia Discordia, you ask? Although it's ludicrous to think of the word "official" and the word "discordian" in the same sentence, this website is the closest these two words ever get.
