| In this photo, the focus is on the union of God & Goddess, as well as cleansing and purification. The central candle is held within my ceramic chalice, forming the union of fire and water, earth and air. On the left is a clay Serpent Goddess amulet. On the right is a crow's claw clutching a crystal sphere, which represents the God energy. The left side of the altar is devoted to the Goddess, and contains some of the stones and crystals I use in healing. The right side of the altar is devoted to the God, and holds my leaf-bladed athame and a dish for holding stick incense. In the front of the altar I have a stone dish with sea salt, and a shell filled with white sage, both used for cleansing and purification. |
