Night Blessing

This is the blessing that I have recited to my children every night at bedtime since they were born. At age 8 & 10, they still insist on it, and won’t go to bed without it!

Have a good night sleep (hands crossed over my heart)
filled with pleasant dreams, (hands spread out over my head)
knowing you are safe and protected (hands palms out, circle around)
by the light of my love. (Hands return crossed over my heart)
